Wade Cox was born and raised in Salem, in southwest Virginia. He was always a storyteller, writing blurbs for fake movies in high school, and taking creative writing classes in college.
For years, he buried the urge to write and film, but he moved out to Los Angeles, CA, for a job selling advertising, and quickly got bitten by the movie bug. He started writing stories regularly, and published his first book soon after.
A few years later, he started working in films with a friend who was trying to get into film school, and that lit a fire under him as well. He has since written, produced, and directed several films.
Wade has lived in Virginia, Florida, California, and Texas. He currently resides in Virginia.
